December 22nd 2021

This month, Butter Lover Moira, has gone to extraordinary effort to share a personal family story and treasured recipe with us all.

Her Grandmother's Fancy Strawberry Shortbread are incredible.

Perfect to make into gifts or simply whip up a batch to enjoy yourself!

Morning Kylie & Kris,

So love seeing you at the markets, your banter & humour is always good... Wishing you all the best as you continue to inspire so many with something so simple, practical & tasting wonderful.

I made [these] from my Grandmothers old Recipe Book which was basically an old exercise note book to which she wrote all her recipes using a pencil.

My Grandmother was one of the cooks & in charge of the domestic girls at what was called The Golden Age Children’s Polio Convalescent Home which existed from 1949-1959 in Leederville.

Please feel free to use any of the photos, and story as you see fit...
